LIFE.LOVE.LUMBER is just that.. the culmination of a life that is filled with love and a passion for making fine furniture.
Born and raised in the central portion of Pennsylvania, I spent the early years of my life enjoying the time I spent outdoors. I hunted, fished, rode ATVs… basically never came inside. I loved being out in the woods surrounded by nature.
Woodworking gave me great joy as a child and as a young man. That joy never left me, even when I moved away from the area to attend college and start a career in IT. While my path didn’t exactly start out in the woodworking field, it certainly contributed to my attention to detail and work ethic. I had been building furniture and creating unique pieces with my wife over a decade and it was something that gave me great joy. I missed creating things and working with my hands. It was time for a change! So, with the blessing of my wife, I quit job and devoted myself full-time to woodworking. It was the greatest decision of my life.
In my work, my goal is to make something special out of something ordinary. I love taking something so simple and natural—a piece of wood—and crafting something beautiful and useful from it. It’s not just craftsmanship; it’s a way of life.

At Life.Love.Lumber, we believe those who live extraordinary lives express their own creativity and style.
When you meet with us, make sure to bring your specific dimensions and requirements. Once we understand your needs, we use sketches and inspiration boards to describe our vision.
Once we’ve settled on a design, we’ll move forward, placing your piece in the queue and reserving the perfect materials for custom furniture’s construction.
Most of our tables are considered custom work as the tops and bases may be mixed and matched, and the size amended to suit your space as necessary. In addition, we have created other unique pieces such as desks, hall tables and bookshelves.
If you are selecting a live edge or wish to use a figured wood species, we invite you to come to our studio to choose your perfect piece of wood for a truly unique look. If you prefer, we can also communicate through email with photography to complete your choice. We’re also on Pinterest so send us your boards!
Custom furniture work usually requires six week to a couple months of lead time.
